The Partners in Wellbeing Program (PIW) was developed to help meet an identified gap in the mental health and wellbeing needs of the Victorian community due to the psychosocial challenges experienced by the Covid - 19 pandemic, including mental health and wellbeing challenges due to imposed restrictions on small business owners.
To support the implementation of this program across Victoria, EACH, Neami National, ACSO, Financial Counselling Victoria and Melbourne Innovation Centre work in partnership in a collaborative and integrative way to provide support including psychosocial wellbeing, financial counselling, business advice and workplace wellbeing strategies and resources to support the mental health of Victorian businesses.
As part of our Partners in Wellbeing (PIW) team, EACH is looking for a Support Worker to provide psychosocial support to our clients!
If you're a Support Worker, who holds a relevant Mental Health, Allied Health or Welfare Diploma/Bachelor, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!
Ideally, you will be skilled at and have experience of Mental Health in the Social Model of Health and have worked in Mental Health and/or AOD sectors delivering community supports and providing adults (16-65 years) Mental health assessment plans within a Transdisciplinary Mental Health framework.
You will be responsible for providing a variety of psychosocial support to clients and/ or carers, individually and in groups to achieve the goals of the PIW program. As part of this dynamic and responsive team, you will help clients to identify their current challenges and provide recovery-oriented and solution-focused frameworks to increase their health and wellbeing and work towards recovery goals.
You will collaborate as a member of the dynamic multidisciplinary Partner in Wellbeing Team as well as with teams in our partner organisations team, to give clients the best possible support.
