As part of our NDIS team at Narre Warren, EACH is looking for several Support Workers to provide support services, making a huge difference to the lives of those with developmental delays and disabilities.
If you're a Support Worker, qualified with a Cert IV in Disability, valid Working with Children Check, current drivers' license and Australian residency status or valid Australian working rights and relevant experience and enjoy variety in your day, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!
Suitable applicants would have previous experience delivering home support to a variety of customers from early childhood to older adults. Each has documented policies and procedures to support the staff and customers. Opportunities exist for professional and personal development to enhance your work experience.

We'll be looking to you to provide support services to Customers (as outlined in their care or service delivery plan) to assist them in maintaining independence and achieving identified goals such as cooking, nutrition, social engagement, personal care (i.e. toileting, showering, medication, grooming, and dressing) and budgeting.
The support services and capacity building for each customer are unique and may cover one or more of the following areas: Daily Living, Relationships, Social and Community Participation, Health & Wellbeing, Home environment, Lifelong Learning, work, Choice & Control. You will require a basic understanding of the NDIS and the Aged Care System; an understanding of approaches in the support of people living with complex needs, and a demonstrated cultural awareness with a commitment to social inclusiveness and diversity.
A basic level of physical fitness required as you will be participating in activities such as shopping, domestic skills, maintaining a tenancy, using public transport, attending appointments.
NDIS services teams are well supported by the Customer Service Delivery Leads (CSDL's) and the Team Leader. The Support Worker role is very independent, however, our CSDL's are always available to guide you. Our team is dedicated to giving clients and each other the best possible support.
