Who we're looking for

headspace Dandenong and Hastings are looking for a full-time or part-time (.8fte or 4days) Senior Clinician Coordinator to help oversee the services clinical governance and provide operational coordination to the School's Services stream.

Do you have clinical leadership capabilities? Are you a strong collaborator that enjoys developing positive relationships with a range of stakeholders? Do you hold a clinical qualification and registration in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Psychology?

You will have experience and a passion for working with young people, demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), problem-solving and decision making.

What you'll be doing

As the Senior Clinician Coordinator is a highly collaborative and crucial role within the headspace service. You will be required to oversee effective clinical governance alongside the headspace Clinical Lead including contributing to the provision of clinical work undertaken by the School Services stream.

This will include being the point of access into the team for new referrals from Intake, coordinating resources and support to new staff, clinical mentorship and supervision, facilitating clinical reviews as well as providing direct clinical therapy to young people & families. You will also have an opportunity to collaborate with the other headspace streams and represent the headspace services at networking events and other community engagement activities!

This position requires flexibility, working from the headspace centre, WFH, in-reach into school settings, and across other community settings as required.

Who you'll be working with

Reporting to the headspace Service Manager, you will work closely with the headspace Senior Leadership team and work with other dedicated professionals within headspace to give young people the best possible support.

The position will be primarily based at headspace Dandenong and the role will be required to work flexibly across the LGA schools and with relevant stakeholders.
