This is an exciting new position within EACH Kingaroy for a registered Psychologist to lead a small team of psychologists (one will be a student placement) working with children and young people, and their family, who have (or are at risk of) severe and complex of mental health concerns in Kingaroy. Out of pocket expenses around fuel, meals and accommodation (if applicable) will be reimbursed to ensure this is a really positive experience for the person who is able to take this up.

What you'll be doing

You will have a desire to work within regional communities with children and youth and their families and previous supervisory experience with an understanding of the requirements of supervising a placement student.

The position requires using your vast experience in working in a clinical setting with children and youth who are (or who are at risk of) experiencing severe and complex mental health concerns.

You will undertake the supervision of a student whilst managing a caseload. Whilst the majority of the work will be one on one because the work is with children and young people, often families may come together to form group work. Work within a school environment may also comprise some of the day, along with participating in case conferencing and working with your off-site data collection and administration support. The expectation is that you will work within the community however if you do not live in the vicinity, we are happy to reimburse travel, meals and accommodation expenses.
