EACH

Who we are

At EACH, our vision is for a healthy and inclusive community.

Founded on the vision that everyone is entitled to good health, we're one of the nation's leading health and community service providers, offering a broad range of services for over 40 years. Our services include Community Health, Mental Health, NDIS, Counselling, Support for Older Australians and Family Services.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for an AHPRA registered Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker who is ready for a challenge (and maybe even a change of scenery!) for a newly created position with EACH in Kingaroy Qld. We're looking for someone who is determined to use their skills to help children and young people, and their families, navigate severe and complex mental health concerns. This position is not for someone wanting a low-impact job; it is for someone committed to changing other people's lives first hand.

The successful candidate will be offered a part-time, fixed-term position for 6 months.

If you're not living or working in Kingaroy already, we can have a conversation about out of pocket expenses (fuel, meals, and accommodation, if applicable) to make the transition to working in the community easier.

What you'll be doing

You'll be able to use your experience in a clinical setting to change the lives of children and young people in regional communities experiencing severe and complex mental health concerns. This will involve a caseload, as well as supervising a student placement.

The majority of the "day-to-day" will consist of one-on-one consultation. Although, given the age group of those most impacted, you'll also be working with families as part of group work.

Work within a school environment may be involved, along with participating in case conferencing and working with your off-site data collection and administration support.

Who you'll be working with

Our team is at the beginning of its journey, and you'll have ample opportunities to shape its growth with your experience and ideas. By working with other professionals at Kingaroy, we are dedicated to giving clients the best possible support.

What we offer

EACH offers all staff benefits by offering Not for Profit Salary Packaging, a flexible workplace strategy and support through a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program.

Next steps

We want to know why you would like to come work with EACH and what you can bring to this role. Please attach a cover letter with your resume.

If you'd like more information about the position, please give Angela Burdon, Area Manager, a call on 0427 468 619 or email [email protected], using the subject line: Registered Psychologist - Kingaroy enquiry via EthicalJobs.
