Who we're looking for

If you're a customer-centric person, certificate qualified in Peer Work, Mental Health or have equivalent training and/or experience in a mental health related field and has lived and/or learned experience of mental ill health and/or psychosocial disability, then we would love to hear from you!

With the specialist knowledge gained through personal lived or learned experience the Recovery Coach will be able to support the customer with their journey of recovery towards leading a contributing and fulfilling life. You will have exceptional communication skills, and the ability to organise your time effectively to allow you to work flexibly and directly with customers as they require and make choices for their support.

What you'll be doing

As the Recovery Coach you will assist a caseload of NDIS customers to build capacity, strengths and resilience through strong respectful relationships, plus ongoing skilled coaching to support people with psychosocial disability to live an ordinary life. By working collaboratively with customers, families, carers and the broader service system to identify, plan, design and coordinate NDIS supports enabling them to take control and better manage complex challenges of day to day living.

Who you'll be working with

Reporting into the Team Leader - Support Coordination, you will work alongside Regional Support Coordination teams to best service our customers in need.
