Who we're looking for

Our dedicated National Access and Intake Service (NAIS) team have a full-time and a part-time (25hrs per week) opportunity available!

Are you a dynamic customer service operator? Qualified with a minimum Cert IV in Community Services, Health or Welfare and/or relevant experience in the Community Health Sector? Are you passionate about working with other service delivery professionals? Then you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

Ideally, you would have experience in a highly demanding call centre environment, a can-do attitude has experience working with people who are looking for help and works well as part of a team. You will have the ability to multi-task while keeping calm under pressure, have high emotional intelligence, excellent phone manner and genuine enjoyment in helping others!

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same! Being the first point of contact for our vulnerable clients, you will provide professional, warm and calm assistance in a timely manner. Bringing your knowledge of health-related issues, you will be able to identify callers needs and refer them to the appropriate service in EACH or external services.

As part of EACH's continuous improvement strategy, you will be responsible in supplying daily statistics to the Team Leader in relation to a number of calls, type of calls and urgency, missed calls and type of enquiry.

Who you'll be working with

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing excellent support to its communities. The NAIS team consists of a Team Leader and National Access and Intake Advisors - level 1 who work in conjunction with the National Access and Intake Service Advisors - Level 2. The team provides the first point of contact for EACH services nationally.
