Who we're looking for

Our dedicated team is looking for an experienced leader in managing multidisciplinary teams combined with a strong background in youth early intervention and clinical services. This unique opportunity to make a difference will combine your knowledge of Youth Mental Health and your passion for providing the right services at the right time for young people.
You will be a highly motivated multitasker with exceptional communication and listening skills, as well as proven capabilities in negotiating, developing, and managing cooperative relationships. Bringing your sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, you will be expected to act through strong leadership, monitoring the service flow and care coordination.

What you'll be doing

As the headspace Manager your days will offer a wide range of experiences to enable hope for your community, by;

• Providing the team with strong leadership by maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the Centre.
• Bringing your flare for strategic planning and aligning it with your operational accountabilities to enable best practice outcomes, through quality and reporting, and the management of relationships both internal and external for youth specific funded services.
• Developing, implementing and the review of Governance frameworks, including quality improvement and compliance monitoring.
• Adhering to the NSW Privacy Laws-Information Privacy Act 200 and the Health Records Act 2001, as well as other laws that regulate the handling of personal information by utilising electronic client/ customer management systems effectively.

Who you'll be working with

This role leads the youth focused mental health Port Macquarie team of 9, while working in conjunction with the Clinical lead and leadership group. You will be required to partner with appropriate networks within the local community, the broader youth and mental health sectors, and with funding and peak bodies to achieve realistic, mutually beneficial goals. There is also the unique opportunity to be part of the wider EACH network nationwide to review best practices, learnings, and knowledge sharing related to the headspace program.
