In this role you will work to support individuals and their families within the surrounding regions of Ipswich by providing accessible, high quality, therapeutic AOD counselling, and associated health services to work towards reducing AOD related harm and promoting recovery.
This position will work on a part-time (4 days per week) basis until 23 December 2022, with a view to extend.
As Counsellor you will be required to undertake a number of activities including but not limited to:
The Counselling Clinician - AOD will work in a lively workplace alongside a team of professional, progressive and passionate counsellors that assist clients to meet their individual goals. This may include harm minimisation or abstinence-based therapies using a range of cognitive behavioural techniques.
