Coordinator - From Homelessness to a Home

EACH

Who we are

At EACH, our vision is for a healthy and inclusive community.

Founded on the vision that everyone is entitled to good health, we're one of the nation's leading health and community services providers, offering a broad range of services for over 40 years.

The From Homelessness to a Home (H2H) program was developed to support community members experiencing homelessness due to COVID-19.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Coordinator to provide administrative support and project coordination for our Homelessness to Home (H2H) program on a full-time (38 hours per week) basis until 31 December 2023.

What you'll be doing

Your days will be varied as you work closely with the Manager - H2H, and a team of motivated professionals from a variety of diverse professional and personal backgrounds. Using your highly developed organisational skills and expertise with client management systems, you will provide a high level of administrative and project support to the H2H team throughout the delivery of the program.

A typical day might see you:

  • provide project support to the team; organising and actively participating in project and team meetings,
  • support staff with the development of communications (e.g. meeting minutes, presentations, reports, project plans, and general project communications),
  • assist with client data entry and program reporting requirements,
  • monitor/track action items and compliance requirements, and
  • liaise with a diverse stakeholder group to support the program.

About you

If you're a team-focused administrator/coordinator, with project management capabilities, and enjoy working closely with other professionals who share a commitment to exceptional service delivery, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

You will have:

  • Experience supporting a team with project activities and deliverables with excellent attention to detail,
  • Intermediate level (or above) data entry and Microsoft Office skills (e.g. you can use formulas, create and format tables, and work with data in Excel),
  • Proficiency in client records management systems and the ability to work with data across multiple platforms (ideally you have used Specialist Homelessness Information Platform (SHIP) and/or CarelinkPlus)
  • Experience working in the community housing, social services or not-for-profit sector.

Highly desirable experience and/or qualifications:

  • Past experience working within the Homelessness Sector
  • Certificate in Business Administration/Project management or another relevant discipline

Who you'll be working with

In addition to working directly with the Manager - H2H and the H2H team, you will work with clients, team members, and a range of stakeholders internal and external to the organisation to support the delivery of a client-focused integrated care approach.

The H2H team works with very high levels of flexibility, trust, networking, and collaboration, and members of the team will have strengths in these areas to engage with clients in the community.

What we offer

EACH is committed to developing our people. Here, you'll be supported to be your best.

What we provide:

  • Work arrangements that flex to you
  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
  • Engaging, inclusive supportive team
  • Opportunities for internal career progression
  • Generous Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging
  • Opportunity to purchase additional leave
  • Support through a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program
  • Opportunities to continuously grow and develop.
