About the Administration Officer role

Our headspace team is looking for an experienced Receptionist/Administration Officer in a part-time capacity (approx. 26 hours per week) with demonstrated administrative capabilities, preferably within a medical or health setting. If you naturally create a welcoming positive environment, display professionalism and enjoy working with young people and families, then you might be the perfect person to join our team!

Our ideal team member will enjoy the stability and consistency of an administrative role whilst thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. You'll undertake a range of administration functions and liaise with internal key stakeholders (case manager, brokers, support staff, and clients) to deliver exceptional support services in our Port Macquarie office.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you'll:

  • Use your highly developed people and relationship skills to effectively support and liaise with Managers, Health Professionals and clients to meet their needs
  • Apply your digital technology skills to ensure our staff and clients are receiving quality support, and
  • Be a part of a highly collaborative and supportive team with a shared purpose.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have a customer-centric mindset and a sense of understanding, empathy and professionalism to help clients, team members, and a range of stakeholders
  • Are proficient in the use of MS Office, building spreadsheets, flowcharts and using formulas
  • Have experience in Medicare billing in a medical setting.
  • Love to learn and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and
  • Effectively prioritise tasks and manage time when given a high volume of operational & administrative work.

Who you’ll be working with

Supported by a dynamic Office Manager, you will be part of a highly reputable and diverse administration team focused on supporting their service portfolios across EACH’s headspace NSW footprint. In providing support to our youth services you will be working within a multidisciplinary environment and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders including our clients.
