As a not-for-profit agency we provide family services, mental health and wellbeing support, relationship counselling, parent support and education for families, children and young people that reflect the diversity of the communities across our different locations.

The position

drummond street has a fantastic opportunity for a part time (3 to 4 days a week your choice) Targeted Psychological Services and Better Access Practitioner to join the team in the Western Region (Brimbank and Wyndham), delivering sessions via zoom and phone during COVID-19. Reporting to the Senior Child and Family Practitioner, Wyndham, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies for children and families. You will be working with an awesome supportive team who have shown incredible leadership during the current pandemic!

About you

To qualify you will hold full registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker and be eligible to deliver under these programs. You will:

  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience providing psychological interventions to children, young people and adults under TPS or Better Access
  • Have an ability to provide evidence-based and focussed psychological therapies with positive client outcomes
  • Be well organised, flexible and client-focussed
  • Demonstrate a positive, creative and collaborative approach to the delivery of services.

Salary:  Salary and Award dependent on qualifications. Salary packaging is available.

Part time fixed position until June 30, 2021.
