The Drug Education Network (DEN) is a not-for-profit charity organisation committed to reducing the harms from alcohol and other drugs through education and leadership. DEN neither condones nor condemns the use of drugs. Rather, we acknowledge that drug use exists irrespective of legal status or societal norms.
DEN is seeking an experienced Project Officer to undertake the development, focus-testing and implementation of a new online ‘Community Conversations’ resource. The Project Officer will be able to demonstrate previous experience in project management, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and demonstrate a pro-active, self-directed approach to managing a dynamic workload.
The ‘Community Conversations’ Project Officer will perform a range of complex functions, holding full responsibility for the planning, coordination and completion of all activities pertaining to the Drug Education Network’s ‘Community Conversations’ project. The Project Officer will act in alignment with the project plan and funding KPI’s, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and community members to ensure the project’s successful implementation and completion.
DEN’s main office is located in Hobart though candidates from across the state will be considered, as long as they are willing to undertake travel (where required). This position would suit an experienced project officer, with prior experience in the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug sector.
