About the role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to manage one of our programs based in the inner-city Suburbs of Melbourne. This role will be perfect for someone who has hands on experience in an acute setting and is looking to take that next step and advance their career into coordination and management.

Our client is a ventilated quadriplegic so exposure to Respiratory Management and Spinal Injuries will be a great advantage. The successful applicant will be guided by the current Clinical Nurse Coordinator as well as Drake Medox Management to ensure their success in this role. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.

Our client, who lives at home with a complex Spinal Cord Injury, requires a dedicated Nurse to coordinate and manage their overall care and clinical needs. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in our client’s life, as well as enhance your own skills and knowledge, by leading and coordinating a strong team of Nurses and Support Workers along with liaising with various Allied Health Professionals.

You must have:

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • NDIS Worker Screener Check
  • Valid Australian Driver’s License
  • International Police check for applicants who have lived outside of Australia for 12 months of more

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Clinical coordination experience (desirable)
  • ICU, Acute Respiratory or Spinal experience or exposure (desirable)
  • Organisational and leadership qualities
  • Encompass a person-centred approach to nursing
  • Experience collaborating with Allied Health professionals
  • Have a caring nature and a passion for helping others in need
