As a Grade 1 Speech Pathologist you will participate in three team/service rotations over the twelve-month program, including:

  • Paediatric Child Health Team and
  • Early Childhood Intervention Team.

A little about the role

At DPV Health, we provide Speech Pathology services for all ages!

With the expectation of starting in early February 2023, you will work within a Family and Client Centred Framework to provide a comprehensive centre-based Speech Pathology service to children. 

The position is responsible for providing quality Speech Pathology intervention and expertise by working closely with the client, family, and other team members to best meet their needs and priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be completing a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology (Bachelor or Masters coursework) in 2022, leading to knowledge or experience in Speech Pathology assessment and intervention and developmental delays/disabilities, or have recently graduated
  • Possess an interest in working as a Speech Pathologist within a diverse community setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrate early career experience in providing Speech Pathology assessment, planning, treatment, education, and management.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently and respond to a changing work environment.
  • Demonstrate independence, initiative, and agility; and
  • Demonstrate innovation and integrity in excellent service delivery

This is a fixed term 12-month program with the potential for ongoing employment for high performing clinicians.
