A little about the role

In this role you will provide a planned program to a group of clients aimed at maximising social connections and maintaining independence. Your language skills in either Arabic or Turkish will be central to ensuring a quality experience for all. 

About you

You have an energetic engaging approach to assists clients to feel welcome and encourages participation, your Turkish or Arabic language skills and cultural knowledge ensures that the group is able to run smoothly with culturally appropriate activities.

You will have the following qualifications, experience and traits: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or Mental Health
  • Experience working with culturally specific social support groups
  • Great IT skills
  • Community languages highly desirable
