A little about your new role

DPV Health is going through exciting cultural transformation called The DPV Health Way that includes a values refresh and a focus on establishing an innovative employee value proposition that will delight our employees and prospective candidates. In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of The DPV Health Way by operating as a leader within the People, Culture and Transformation Directorate.

This role is critical to the delivery of the People Strategy and in this role you will work alongside the GM, People, Culture and Transformation to enhance the employee experience at DPV Health. You will lead two important functions at DPV Health, the P&C Support function and the People Business Partner team.

There will be a significant focus on operational excellence by implementing employee centric process improvements in our P&C Support area, making it easier for people to do their jobs well. You will have leadership and oversight of all People processes, including processes such as credentialing, reporting, policy development and managing our HR System, Equifax.

You will lead the People Business Partner team and provide generalist advice and support and lead the implementation of the P&C Operational and support the business to deliver on the people initiatives as part of the annual plan.

Along with a focus on operational excellence and generalist support, this role will have a substantial focus on our industrial relations framework and building solid relationships with the relevant Unions.

Where you will make a difference:

  • Strong leadership and oversight of the P&C Support and Business Partnering teams.
  • Management of our HR system (Equifax) with a focus on continuing to automate P&C processes to enhance the employee experience.
  • Management and oversight of the industrial and employee relations framework and relationship with the Unions
  • Leadership and oversight of P&C processes and continuous improvement to enhance the employee experience
  • Provide support and advice to managers in the resolution of employee relations or generalist human resource issues affecting operations at DPV Health 

About you

You will be an edgy and innovative thinker when it comes to enhancing the employee experience and have the following qualifications, experience and traits:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR, Organisational Psychology or other relevant qualification
  • A high level of experience in industrial and employee relations, having worked with various industrial instruments and building strong relationships with Unions.
  • An experienced HR generalist in a complex industrial landscape
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, either People Operations and/or Business Partnering
  • A mindset centred on growth and agility, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness
  • Demonstrated use of analytics and data to drive insights, continuous improvement across all areas of P&C

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Policy Check, hold a valid WWCC and Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check
