If you’re interested in forensics and want to make our community safer, we are currently seeking clinicians in the following locations to join Forensic Intervention Services:

  • Melbourne CBD
  • Lara and Greater Geelong (based at Barwon Prison and/or Marngoneet and Karreenga Correctional Centres)
  • Grampians (based at Hopkins Correctional Centre and/or Langi Kal Kal Prison)
  • Loddon Mallee (based at Loddon and Middleton Prison)

Attend our webinar sessions to learn more about the role and chat with members of our clinical workforce.

A day in the life of our clinicians

  • Apply key therapeutic frameworks to guide assessment and treatment recommendations.
  • Join a supportive multi-disciplinary team including case workers, case managers and activity coordinators.
  • Complete risk assessments using evidence-based tools.
  • Deliver programs directly to service users.
  • Target criminogenic needs and underlying thinking patterns.
  • Facilitate therapeutic intervention services.
  • Determine treatment pathways and prepare plans and reports.
