About the role

Doctors For Nutrition (DFN) is working for a future where whole food plant-based nutrition is widely used in disease prevention and care. As we continue to grow our influence, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Media Lead to join us and drive our media activities.

As Media Lead, you will play a major role in advancing DFN’s mission by elevating DFN’s profile and advocacy activities within the media. This role primarily emcompasses the running of DFN’s social media platforms, the preparation of media releases, managing media partnerships and generating DFN media coverage.

This role offers an exciting challenge to change the conversation by bringing our vital message to the public as you lead and grow the media arm of our unique charity.

About you

As the Media Lead, you will have proven experience within a media or communications role, a track record of successful collaborations, and hold strong connections with a variety of industry stakeholders.

With exceptional communication skills and the natural ability to think creatively and strategically, you have the aptitude to produce persuasive, engaging and visually compelling content. You will also have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a remote working environment.

You will have an understanding of whole food plant-based nutrition, a dedication to the vision and mission of Doctors For Nutrition, and will embody our organisational values.

Salary range

$70,000-$74,000 (FTE) depending on experience
