The Company:

Our client Is a well-established not-for-profit organisation based within the health sector. They have a working focus to improve health outcomes for people affected by a particular condition and need support. Not only do they work with industry professionals, they also work alongside consumer organisations and government departments.

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, Clinical Education and Guidelines you will be responsible for providing project support on the production of clinical guidelines and resources and the implementation of the education program for health professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively implement health professional asthma education workshops and seminars
  • Coordinate the production of clinical guidelines and resources for health professionals and consumers
  • Maintain overall project planning including schedules, documentation, and progress against milestones
  • Provide secretariat support to resource expert advisory and working groups to ensure accurate information and advice is provided
  • Coordinate expert working group meetings and related events
  • Provide ongoing support to the network of health professionals under the guidance of Project Manager, Clinical Education & Guidelines
  • Monitor and support the evaluation processes for education programs.

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in public health, medical science or similar
  • Qualifications or strong experience in project management (including planning, coordination, time management, stakeholder management)
  • Well-developed administration skills including electronic and paper filing processes
  • Secretariat support experience including agenda preparation, minute-taking and understanding of confidentiality
  • High level computer skills (MS Office) including word processing, PowerPoint and spreadsheet software
  • Clinical or administrative experience in the Not for Profit or health industry

The Next Step:

This is a full-time permanent position for an experienced Project Officer to join a well respected Not for Profit. Experience within the Health or Not for Profit industry will be highly regarded.
