Specialising in the ‘care economy’, Diversitat Training have been delivering qualifications, accredited courses and non-accredited programs since 1997. Our courses are generally delivered in Geelong through blended learning and assessment methodologies including both online and face-to-face (in the classroom and/or workplace or via work placement).

The Role:

We are seeking 2 a part time/sessional Trainer and Assessor's for Cert IV and Diploma of Community Services & Cert IV Disability. Both successful applicants will be keen to share their passion for their industry and knowledge to students. As an integral part of a busy and passionate team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Student inductions;
  • Delivering training in accordance with student individual needs;
  • Conducting assessments, and keeping accurate and detailed records;
  • Monitoring student’s progress, and providing support with the course content and learning outcomes;
  • Liaising with industry and work placement providers (where applicable);
  • Assisting with validation sessions;
  • Remaining engaged and vocationally current with your industry.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • The most up to date Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or a Diploma, Bachelor or Post Graduate qualification in adult education);
  • A qualification equal to or higher than the qualification being delivered;
  • Recent (in the last 12 months) and continuing work experience or vocational practice/engagement;
  • Evidence of professional development undertaken in the last 12 months.
