The Role:

Diversitat is the primary provider of Settlement Services in the Geelong Region and as part of its service delivery focus, it is currently funded to provide two initiatives that provide employment opportunities for newly arrived people within several regional areas in Victoria.

The Project Worker role is an exciting one and offers the successful applicant scope of activities related to employment, these including development and implementation of a training framework that enhances the confidence and employability of job seekers from multi-cultural communities.

In addition to this, the successful applicant will have significant responsibility to work in collaboration with Diversitat staff responsible for the Regional Employment Service Systems (RESS) Project to achieve the objectives of the Skills Passport initiative

About You:

Required skills and knowledge for the role include demonstrated experience and expertise in working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. Experience in employment, recruitment, or careers counselling is highly desirable.

This is a part time maximum term position for 15 hours per week until March 2021.
