The Role:

To instruct (culturally and linguistically diverse learner drivers) in road safety. As well as the skills and techniques required to become independent drivers, confident enough to sit their drivers test.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in English and preferably one other community language;
  • Experience in and ability to work cross culturally;
  • Proven track record in assisting learner drivers to gain probationary licenses;
  • Ability to design and deliver driver training programs which are student focused and encourage learner participation and engagement;
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated understanding of the requirements of the Pre-accredited Quality Framework.
  • Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport- Car Driving Instruction);
  • Keys 2 Drive Accredited preferred;
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable;
  • Experience working with and teaching ACFE priority learner cohorts.

The position is a maximum term part time position (22.5 hours per week) until 31st July 2021

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a police check, working with children check and a disability worker exclusions check as part of the offer of employment.
