An exciting opportunity is available to join our Fundraising and Partnerships team at Diabetes Victoria. The Individual Giving Lead is responsible for increasing fundraising revenue for Diabetes Victoria through implementing key fundraising activities, including Tax and Christmas fundraising appeals, developing new digital fundraising activities and grant applications; and developing supporter relationships.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong skills in:

  • Fundraising appeals;
  • Campaign management and direct marketing;
  • Networking and relationship building;
  • Operational management, specifically in business planning, reporting and budgeting;
  • Project management;
  • Writing for grant applications and fundraising direct marketing; and
  • Database management (experience with Salesforce is highly desirable).

You will have experience in developing and executing successful direct marketing campaigns and/or fundraising appeals; experience in data segmentation and data-driven decision making; a track record in effective budget management; and experience working in a not-for-profit community-based organisation.

This is a full-time, ongoing position. A relevant qualification or certificate in fundraising is preferred for this role, and a current police check is required.
