Stemming from the Royal Commission into Family Violence recommendation, the Hub, now known as the Orange Door is a new way to access help and support for women, children and young people who are experiencing family violence as well as families who need support with the care, well being and development of children.

An outstanding opportunity currently exists for a highly motivated individual to join the Orange Door program in the capacity of Team manager – CPP5 classification. This dynamic role is a pivotal position for Child Protection within the Orange Door.

The Team Manager role will provide supervision and support to Community Based Child Protection Practitioners and will work alongside other key stakeholders within the Hub including Family Safety Victoria, Family Violence Services and Child First.

Pivotal to your success in this challenging yet fulfilling role, you will possess demonstrable skills in the following key areas:

  • Highly developed People Management skills strengthened by your strategic as well as operational focus
  • Superior Stakeholder Management experience with the ability to forge relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Leadership acumen coupled with experience assuming a mentoring role
