The Programs Unit supports the efficient and effective coordination, integration and implementation of forest (including recreation and visitor services), fire and emergency management programs.

Software Engineers form the core development capability of the TSU for the development of Web based information systems. The Software Engineer (Victoria’s Great Outdoors program), will work with the TSU and the Programs Unit within the FFR Group.

The position will be responsible for development, deployment and testing of new and existing systems, primarily focussing on FFR’s recreation facilities assets database and its associated content platforms servicing visitors to public land.
