The Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change is seeking expressions of interest to fill Sustainability Victoria member vacancies. These appointments will be for a term of not more than five years, as determined by the Minister.

Sustainability Victoria is established under the Sustainability Victoria Act 2005 to facilitate and promote environmental sustainability in the use of resources.

Candidates must demonstrate skills, experience or knowledge in at least one and preferably more of the following:

  • waste management within local government
  • the environment
  • the waste industry
  • marketing
  • change management
  • business management
  • education
  • behavioural change
  • energy and resources
  • regional and rural affairs

Expertise in public sector governance and ethical leadership is also desirable.
