Deearne is a business owner, artist, music and theatre enthusiast, gym member and an avid Hawthorn Football fan. She also happens to have a disability. She has the long-term goal of experiencing as many of the good things of life as possible.

Deearne is looking for mentors with a mature outlook to help her experience life and in particular, keep fit and healthy, increase her social connections and help her with her small business.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Assist Deearne in making healthy ordinary food
  • Teach Deearne simple recipes that she can recreate herself
  • Be an evening companion
  • Drive Deearne to places she needs to visit
  • Help Deearne make friendship connections.
  • From time to time, help Deearne make cards and create her artwork

Other Requirements

Drivers licence, your own car together with comprehensive insurance, police check, Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to obtain one.

Hours of work and pay

Casual or Part Time role (3 months probation)

Hours of work are 5pm to 10pm weekdays with the occasional Saturday or Sunday. You will be paid commensurate with qualifications and experience.
