Deakin University’s School of Psychology, in collaboration with a number of other universities and hospitals, is running a trial comparing yoga, cognitive behaviour therapy and education to improve quality of life and reduce healthcare costs for people with endometriosis over 5 years. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the day-to-day operations of this cutting edge trial and involves coordinating and managing the trial and ensuring adherence to the guidelines for good clinical practice (GCP) and ethical standards.
Holding responsibility for setting up systems and processes for the efficient running of the trial, as well as recruitment, follow up and data management, the Research Fellow, Trial Lead will work with the Chief Investigators to ensure every aspect of the study runs smoothly. Your confident and credible communication style and ability to communicate effectively, sensitively, and compassionately with a range of internal and external staff and project stakeholders (including people with endometriosis), will position you well to immediately build the trust and respect essential for this position. Highly detail orientated, your aptitude and genuine passion for intervention research and clinical trials will ensure your success within this important position.
