Deadly Connections is looking for Deadly staff!

We are on the hunt for Family Specialists to work in our Deadly Families project providing intensive family/cultural support and parenting education to Aboriginal families experiencing child protection interventions.

As an Aboriginal community controlled organisation our services and programs are culturally responsive, holistic and tailored to suit individual/community needs.

We encourage applicants with lived experience and/or current community service/social work students (towards the end of their studies), although professional experience and qualifications are highly regarded - they are not essential.

We strongly encourage our mob to apply for this role however this is not an identified role. What is important is that you are passionate and committed to improving outcomes for Aboriginal people, families and communities - particularly those who are justice involved.

You must have an understanding of the complexities that place Aboriginal families at greater risk of child protection interventions. A current WWCC and Drivers Licence (minimum P2) is essential and we require you to have access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

This is a casual role (hours per week will vary however it will be a minimum of 10-15), working across the Inner City and Inner West LGA's.Your application should include a current, up to date resume and no more than two page EOI that outlines how you meet the requirements of the role.
