The Dandenong & District Aborigines Co-operative Ltd (DDACL) is a community controlled organisation which is governed by a community elected Board of Directors. It provides a range of health services, family services and programs for the community. This is a newly created position at DDACL in recognition of the growth of the programs. The position will work with the community and create strong relationships with NDIA, the LAC and relevant government bodies to ensure community experiences a smooth transition to services required based on need.

The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to the needs and aspirations of the local Aboriginal community and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of cultural appropriateness and an ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal people.They will also have a proven experience in service delivery management in the social support and welfare sector, qualifications and/or proven experience in the NDIS industry and relevant management experience, and highly developed communication skills.
