About your new role

As a Caseworker, you will be responding to reports about a child or young person who may have been harmed or where there are safety concerns. 

You will work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, the child or young person, and a range of other services, to develop safety plans and undertake risk assessments. A caseworker’s first priority is always the safety, welfare and wellbeing of the child or young person.

About you

You will be dedicated to working collaboratively with Aboriginal children, families and communities and have a:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, social science, welfare or a related discipline and experience working with vulnerable children, young people and their families
  • valid driver’s licence
  • Working with Children clearance number
