About the role

  • Contract Position, with immediate start
  • Hours and salary negotiable dependent on experience, with potential for full time employment
  • Based in Melbourne Metro; interstate travel will be required
  • Attractive remuneration package with salary packaging benefits available (up to $15,900 per annum)

Position Overview

This role will project manage all aspects in the end-to-end delivery of a 3-year NDIS Grant under the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) National Information Program. Your role will be to coordinate the design, creation and implementation of a new website that meets the needs of parents and families of deaf and hard of hearing children. Researching what is already available, building relationships with parents and other deaf organisations nationally, and understanding the services and advice that are required will be critical to the success of the project. Excellent project management and relationship building skills are required.

Skills and experience:

Essential

  • Proven experience in project management, project management methodologies and delivery
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and meetings with key stakeholders
  • Well developed planning and organisational skills including scope and schedule management
  • Proven advanced problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiating skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively to individuals and groups
  • Finance and cost control management experience
  • High level IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office tools, including database development

Desirable

  • Project Management Qualification
  • Lived experience as a deaf or hard of hearing individual or parent of a child with deafness or hearing loss
  • Knowledge and/or experience in research or related activities
