Darebin is situated on the Traditional Owner lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people. It is home to many Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, and a large number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people work, live and play within the municipality. The Program Development Officer supports the health, wellbeing, education and employment of young people in the city of Darebin. The role will oversee and support the delivery of creative and technology based programs and services at The Hub at Northland, a vibrant and multi-purpose youth space that hosts a range of local support services and equipped with the latest games and technology.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a diverse group of young people and use technology and creative methods to design a program of their choosing.
