Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Officer to join the Quality Innovation and Integration Program for this part-time (0.8 FTE), ongoing position.

About us

Your Community Health provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and allied health services and support programs to anyone, through a combination of outreach, client-based and centre-based activities. Our purpose is to enable health, wellbeing and dignity for all people in northern Melbourne by providing responsive and accessible services. We provide priority access to those most at risk of health inequalities and those that may face barriers to accessing traditional health services.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager Quality Innovation and Integration, the Quality Officer will work across all parts of the organisation to promote continuous improvement and ensure Your Community Health meets all relevant quality standards.

Your passion and commitment will see you:

  • Coordinate and support activities related to external quality reviews.
  • Develop and continuously improve organisational and clinical systems of work in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate client feedback systems and client experience and satisfaction surveys including the Victorian Health Experience Survey (VHES).
  • Conduct audits and preparing reports for line management and the Board.
  • Lead quality improvement projects identified by leadership as operational or strategic priorities.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in health or administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading quality improvement projects.
  • Experience with coordination of accreditation activities.
  • The ability to communicate positively, succinctly and objectively both in writing and verbally.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and develop relationships at all levels of the organisation and with clients and community.
