Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Podiatrist to join the Podiatry Team on a part-time basis (0.8 FTE), fixed-term until September 2021. This is a Parental leave replacement position.

About us

Your Community Health provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and allied health services and support programs through a combination of outreach, client-based and centre-based activities. Our purpose is to enable health, wellbeing and dignity for all people in northern Melbourne by providing responsive and accessible services. We provide priority access to those most at risk of health inequalities and those that may face barriers to accessing traditional health services.

About the role

Reporting to Podiatry Coordinator, you will provide high-quality community based podiatry services to clients of Your Community Health.

Your passion and commitment will see you:

  • Provide podiatry services that are safe and high quality
  • Conduct goal setting with clients around client centred care principles
  • Perform care planning and care co-ordination
  • Be involved with health promotion projects and advocacy

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in podiatry
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of client groups and conditions in a community setting
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and treatment skills in all aspects of all podiatric care including chronic disease management, paediatrics, nail surgery, wound management and biomechanics
