Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant on a fixed-term basis until end June 2021. This is available as a full-time role, however, part-time 0.8 EFT may be considered.

About us

Your Community Health provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental, and allied health services and support programs to anyone, through a combination of outreach, client-based and centre-based activities. Our purpose is to enable health, wellbeing, and dignity for all people in northern Melbourne by providing responsive and accessible services. We provide priority access to those most at risk of health inequalities and those that may face barriers to accessing traditional health services.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide professional executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and the Leadership Team.

You will be able to undertake the role with discretion, maturity, and have the ability to positively represent the organisation. An understanding of the community and not-for-profit health sector is desirable.

Your passion and commitment will see you:

  • Provide support to the CEO and Leadership Team
  • Provide secretariat support to the Board of Directors
  • Co-ordinate a number of internal and external events and meetings
  • Assist with the development of internal and external communications including the intranet, promotional flyers, publications and newsletters

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience providing high-level executive support to CEO and/or senior executive level staff
  • Previous experience providing secretariat support to Board Committees or similar
  • Excellent administrative, organisational, time management and prioritising skills
  • High level verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • The ability to work collaboratively and develop effective working relationships
