Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Carer Support Project Worker to join the Social Support Program team, on a part-time (7 hours per week), fixed-term basis until the end March 2021.
Your Community Health provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and allied health services and support programs to anyone, through a combination of outreach, client-based and centre-based activities. Our purpose is to enable health, wellbeing and dignity for all people in northern Melbourne by providing responsive and accessible services. We provide priority access to those most at risk of health inequalities and those that may face barriers to accessing traditional health services.
Your Community Health's "Join" project will engage with and provide a support group for sexually and gender diverse male carers. Reporting to the Social Support Program and Men's Shed Manager, the Carer Support Project Worker will work with group participants to engage with and meet the health and well-being needs of sexually and gender diverse male carers.
