DAMEC is a NFP with funding from NSW Health, South West PHN, Wentwest PHN and various other minor grants. DAMEC was established in 1989 as part of the NSW Drug Offensive. We are a world leader in the provision of AOD services to CALD communities. DAMEC focuses on direct client services through out patient counselling, short term health education projects & community based research that informs practice.
DAMEC is the leading Multicultural AOD service in NSW. The position will work across NSW with base offices in Liverpool & Blacktown. The position involves the provision of outpatient counselling services to clients with a focus on Arabic speaking. There are opportunities to provide community information sessions.
