About the Role

The Clinical Coordinator’s job function is to work collaboratively with the Manager of the North Metro Community Alcohol and Drug Service (NMCADS) to ensure effective delivery of integrated AOD services at the Warwick or Joondalup site. The Clinical Coordinator will support the team to provide reflective, innovated practice that supports consumer engagement and is responsive to consumer needs, while maintaining a small clinical case load. The Clinical Coordinator will promote effective working relationship between Cyrenian House and Next Step, in support of the integrated service model.

Hours of Work & Location

This position is a full-time role working 76 hours per fortnight, located at in North Metro Community Alcohol and Other Drug Service (NMCADS) Warwick office, traveling to our Joondalup site will also be required.  

To be successful in this role you will require the following key attributes:

  • Have a degree in social, behavioural or health sciences and or experience in the alcohol and other drug sector.
  • Have demonstrated management and well-developed leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated and well-developed counselling and clinical supervision skills.
  • Have experience in working with culturally diverse, complex, coerced, and co-morbid AOD treatment populations.
  • Previous experience in report writing.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Have a focus on continuous quality improvement and best practice.
  • Full work rights and National Police Clearance.
  • Current driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
