About the Role 

The Clinical Coordinator works autonomously under broad direction from the Therapeutic Community (TC) Manager to coordinate service delivery within the Wandoo Rehabilitation Prison, Therapeutic Community. The role includes the provision of supervision and support to the Wandoo TC team with a focus on consumer engagement. 

The Clinical Coordinator leads the provision of treatment that is multidimensional involving therapy, education, values and skills development utilising the Community as Method treatment approach. 

Hours of Work & Location 

This position is a full-time role working 76 hours per fortnight, located at our Wandoo Prison site based in Murdoch, free parking is available at this location. 

To be successful in this role you will require the following key attributes: 

  • Degree in Social, Behavioural, Education, Health Sciences or equivalent experience and the AOD sector. 
  • Solid experience in leading and providing clinical supervision to multidisciplinary teams who work with vulnerable client groups. 
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of assessment, counselling, therapeutic approaches and treatment planning for people with AOD related issues. 
  • High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively lead, engage and work with a multidisciplinary team, clients and stakeholders. 
  • Have demonstrated experience in working with women and children who are experiencing multiple unmet needs. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and mediation skills. 
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills, including experience in report writing. 
  • Have a focus on continuous quality improvement and best practice. 
  • Full work rights and National Police Clearance.
