With a well-respected reputation based on over 30 years of providing safe crisis accommodation services, the Patricia Giles Centre for Non-Violence is the lead Not for Profit organisation operating in the Northern suburbs offering Crisis Accommodation, Housing Support, Outreach, and Counselling & Advocacy services for families affected by FDV and homelessness.
Our reputation is driven by our ability to provide high quality, sustainable services to clients and we are committed to working in a client-centred, trauma informed, inclusive, culturally appropriate way.
Working within a small, client-focused team delivering high quality case management for families across our service offering. 76 hours per fortnight, this role is currently funded until June 30 2021. We expect funding to continue and the date to be extended accordingly.
Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Science, Counselling, or other relevant human service qualification.
Demonstrated relevant work experience with crisis accommodation service provision within the FDV, Mental Health or Homelessness sector.
Experience providing a trauma informed response to individuals and families affected by or experiencing FDV.
