Communications and Marketing Specialist

Conservation Volunteers Australia

Conservation Volunteers Australia activates communities to get nature back in balance.

Since 1982, we have delivered environmental and social outcomes across Australia through practical conservation activities with volunteers in urban and regional areas.

As we enter a new era for our organisation, we are renewing our focus on five key Campaigns to better tackle community and conservation challenges across Australia. Through these Campaigns, we develop collaborative partnerships which bring together the expert knowledge, land, people and resources to create better futures for the species in need and communities around them, over multiple years.

We are now recruiting for people with skills and experiences to carry us forward in this new chapter. We are offering you the opportunity to work in a role where you will find purpose, exercise your autonomy and engage in collaboration internally and externally to bring projects to life and make a positive difference for communities and ecosystems around the country.

The Communications and Marketing Specialist is responsible for development and implementation of content that supports the delivery of our Campaign Projects that make a tangible difference to conservation and community outcomes in Australia. Working within the Communications and Marketing Team, this opportunity is ideal for an individual experienced in developing a range of written and visual content for web, print and other medium, for unique projects and creatively telling the story to internal and external audiences.

The Communications and Marketing Specialist will operate as an integral part of Campaign teams and work collaboratively with other functions such as community engagement, field operations, and project managers to provide innovative ways in which CVA can achieve campaign and organisational outcomes.
