NDIS Support Workers - Mt Coolum / Currimundi

Community Services Bespoke Solutions
  • Mt Coolum and Currimundi

About us

We are a NDIS registered provider supporting people with disability across southeast Queensland.

We support people to practice decision-making across all parts of life, and our relationship-based model of co-designing supports places the person at the centre of all their life decisions, so a person can live their best life, make their own plans, and be treated with dignity and respect, free from discrimination.

It is our goal to provide supports that match a person’s preferences and to recruit workers in line with those preferences to deliver customised supports that build skills and abilities and that progress toward achieving their goals.

We employ people who reflect the diversity of the people we support. We encourage applications from everyone including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, mature age workers, and LGBTIQA+ communities.

This recruitment and selection process is based on the support preferences of NDIS Participants and includes the essential requirements for delivering NDIS supports and services.

About the roles

We are seeking full time, part time, and casual support workers for a Supported Independent Living home at Mount Coolum, and at Currimundi.

Mount Coolum

Two male brothers living in Mount Coolum want to engage new support team members to support their daily living choices and needs.

To be part of this high performing team, you must have experience supporting people with intellectual disability and autism, and be confident communicating with people who are non-verbal. The brothers are profoundly blind, so building and gaining their trust is an essential part of this role.

The family is actively engaged in the delivery of their supports and are committed to engaging a high quality support team to deliver exceptional supports and outcomes.

Currimundi

Three female Participants who have lived together for many years at Currimundi on the Sunshine Coast are looking to engage people to be part of their support team.

To be part of this high performing team, you will have experience supporting people with intellectual and physical disability, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy, and be competent using hoisting and other specialised supports.

Their Participants’ families are significantly engaged in directing their supports and are invested in ensuring the new support team members provide exceptional supports and outcomes.

Both Mount Coolum and Currimundi support teams will be provided with comprehensive person-focused training by our service manager who is committed to the success of the team and the outcomes for the Participants.

Both locations require 24/7 supports in-home and in the community.
