Project Ready, incorporating VET Certificate II in Active Volunteering, is an interactive work readiness and personal development program for year 10-12 students at risk of disengaging from school.

Central Ranges Local Learning & Employment Network (CRLLEN ) is seeking a dynamic and passionate facilitator to deliver Project Ready one day a week for a Geelong based Catholic school. Immediate start term 2.

With TAE qualifications and vocational competency in Active Volunteering, you will have extensive experience and demonstrated success in delivering training in a youth or secondary school setting.

You will possess a content delivery style that is dynamic, uplifting and compassionate, and be able to use your knowledge of strength-based training, wellbeing strategies and pastoral care to create a learning environment that is student-centred, relational, safe and nurturing. You understand that building trusting relationships with young people and creating 'groupness' in a training environment are key to obtaining better learning outcomes.

You will be prepared to deliver Project Ready using our evidence-based and proven relational pedagogy.

Highly desirable but not essential are qualifications in group facilitation, wellbeing, careers or youth work.

You will be hired as 0.2 FTE employee of CRLLEN until 15 December 2022, and remunerated at $78,000pa pro-rata. This is inclusive of 4 hours of training delivery time one day per week (day TBC), with the remaining paid time allocation to be used for preparation, assessment, administration and pastoral care of students.

There is also the option to be hired as a contractor/ABN holder.

Extensive professional development and support will be provided to trainers throughout the program, including participation in a peer learning circle consisting of other Project Ready trainers from across the state.

A comprehensive facilitator's manual detailing session learning outcomes, activities and assessments will be provided.
