About the role:

C&K Clinton Community Childcare Centre is now looking for an Early Childhood professional to join the Centre in January 2021. This opportunity will see you being part of a Community based Childcare Centre which supports the local communities' families and children as well as feeling supported and mentored by C&K.

C&K provides high quality educational experiences through the implementation of the new revised curriculum "Listening & Learning Together" by encouraging children to express their own ideas through play to develop friendships, explore, solve problems, help others, imagine, create and extend on their interests.

This position is Permanent full time working 38 hours per weeks as the Pre-Kindy Teacher. C&K Clinton welcomes experience Early Childhood Teachers, as well as recent graduates to apply.

In your new role you have the opportunity to learn and grow through C&K, to bring new skills and ideas to challenge your knowledge and deliver excellence in early education.

As the Teacher, you will have an ability to document and assess children's learning behavior and development. You will be able to model and support the room educators to utilise a variety of teaching strategies including intentional teaching and reflective practice in daily work.

To be successful for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in early childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or actively working towards
  • Experience working with the Pre-Kindy age or Kindergarten age group
  • Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Standards ("NQF" and "NQS"), the Early Years Learning Framework ("EYLF")
  • Current Paid or Exemption Blue card
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
  • An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
  • An ability to document observations of children's behaviour and development
  • An ability to implement a planned program, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
