Kindergarten Teacher - C&K Moranbah Community Kindergarten
At our C&K Moranbah Community Kindergarten and Preschool Centre, an exciting opportunity has come available for an experienced Early Childhood Professional to join the Centre as one of their Kindergarten Teachers. As the Teacher you will be a part of a Centre which supports 3 Kindergarten units with 132 children in total. You will be the Teacher delivering the kindergarten program within one of the units. This community Kindergarten also has after Kindy hours care which supports family needs.
C&K Moranbah Kindergarten has been a proud member of the community for 60 years and provides high quality educational experiences through the implementation of the new revised curriculum "Listening & Learning Together", by encouraging children to express their own ideas through play to develop friendships, explore, solve problems, help others, imagine, create and extend on their interests.
As the Teacher you will be a part of a Community Kindergarten which supports the local communities' families and children as well as feeling supported and mentored by C&K.
The Moranbah Community Kindergarten encourages University graduates as well as experienced teachers to apply for this opportunity for 2021.
This teaching role will commence on the 18th January 2021; however you may be required sooner for induction and orientation. You will be on a 12-month fixed term contract till December 2021, full time working 37.5 hours per week.
For this Kindergarten Teacher position, we are looking for someone who is a self-starter, who has previous experience as a Teacher and armed with a creative vision. We welcome university graduates who are ready to kick start their career in 2021 and be provided with a supportive mentoring program.
As the Teacher, you will have an ability to document and assess children's learning behaviour and development. Model and support the room educators to utilise a variety of teaching strategies including intentional teaching and reflective practice in daily work.
