Since 1907, the organisation has grown and developed its social purpose agenda and now educates children in 360 centres comprised of both Childcare Centres and Kindergartens

This centre will specialise in nature pedagogy and will have bright and natural spaces which include modern and natural outdoor play spaces featuring mud play, sandpits, a dry creek with pumping water and a nature reserve for the children to explore.  

About You

Are you ready to take on a challenge and begin the journey of a lifetime? C&K Thornlands is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Group Leader to join the team.

In this beautiful, 131 place state of the art centre, you will be required to work 38 hours per week on a rotating roster between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Ideally, you will have the following:

• An ACECQA recognised qualification.
• Passionate about nature-play pedagogy and committed to ongoing professional learning and development.
• Prior experience working in the early childhood profession.
• Awareness of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG).
• Experience assisting with the implementation of a planned program, ensuring the needs of the group and individual children are met.
