About You: 

Are you ready to take on a challenge and begin the journey of a lifetime? C&K are set to open a BRAND-NEW Childcare Centre based in Geebung. We are in search of an experienced and enthusiastic Director who is confident, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build and guide their team from the very beginning. 

This opportunity will suit someone with education sector experience and a commercial approach, who shares C&K's values of Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, Courage and Safety.

Your experience, skills and knowledge will include:  

  • A minimum of an ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood
  • Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring and supporting early childhood education and care programs to deliver high quality outcomes, and in building a capable and engaged staff team. 
  • Sound knowledge of National Quality Framework and Standards ("NQF" and "NQS"), the Early Years Learning Framework ("EYLF") 
  • Demonstrated experience in leading with vision to deliver positive results in early childhood education and care including;  
    • Practical and comprehensive knowledge of key issues, strategies and best practice in early childhood education, child health, wellbeing and inclusion, early childhood curricula and development frameworks; 
    • Day-to-day management; 
    • Financial management; 
    • Health, safety and wellbeing; and 
    • Building strong family partnerships.  

We would like the successful candidate to commence in February 2021 to be involved with the recruitment of the centre team, contribute to the setup of the centre and start creating and developing strong relationships with the community.
