We’re looking for a passionate digital designer to join our growing team of creatives working with nonprofits on digital projects for social impact. As a team we bring together senior creatives, strategists, developers and comms specialists from the nonprofit sector, using our experience and insight to innovate across an organisation's creative projects.
With an eye for strong UX, fluency in interface design and your finger on the pulse of emerging online trends, you’ll provide creative inspiration to our digital projects, from wireframing through to design of websites, apps and online experiences. Position is available on a contract, part-time or full-time basis with consideration for a junior/mid/senior role determined by applicant’s experience and suitability.
Currently taking Australia-wide expressions of interest, with the final role shaped around the most suitable candidate.
Interface Design: Producing compelling and effective website and app interfaces using Figma, Sketch or XD, with a clear understanding of digital design systems and processes.
Wireframing & UX
Producing interactive online wireframes that map out our digital solutions, illustrate optimised user experiences and define project scope for design.
Creative Strategy: Working with our team to scope projects, identify creative solutions, review/evaluate existing designs, run user testing, and support our clients in realising project goals.
Design Inspiration: Pushing our team to be innovative across our work, introducing new (and effective) design trends that benefit our nonprofit clients and elevate the impact of our work.
Content Design: Designing digital assets for campaigns and projects, including social graphics, email templates, style guides, brand revisions and documents.
Design Delivery: Contributing with the wider team in implementing designs across popular platforms including Raisely, WordPress, Mailchimp and digital marketing channels.
We're open to a junior, mid or senior role on contract, part-time or full-time hours depending on applicant's experience and in consideration of their context, with a FTE salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 (+ super).
No need for your resume at this stage. If you have experience and interest in a role like this, we’d love to hear from you and then we may request more details (such as a resume) over an email discussion. The final role will be shaped around the experience and interests of the successful candidate, so let us know why you’re interested and what you’d bring to Creative Freedom to succeed through this role.
